The NRL has confirmed the schedule for its Las Vegas season opener in 2026, featuring four teams: the Canterbury Bulldogs will compete against the St George Illawarra Dragons, while the North Queensland Cowboys will face the Newcastle Knights.
These matches are set to take place at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, February 28 (March 1 in Australia).
In addition to the NRL games, English Super League teams Hull Kingston Rovers and Leeds Rhinos are also slated to play.
This year's event will see a reduction in games from four to three, resulting in the omission of the Jillaroos from the lineup.
This decision came after the Jillaroos achieved a significant victory over England with a score of 90-4.
Additionally, the league faced challenges in drawing fans, as evidenced by the final game of the previous Vegas showcase-a match between Penrith and Cronulla-taking place in front of noticeably fewer spectators.
It's noteworthy that Allegiant Stadium does not offer pass-outs, meaning that fans cannot leave the premises and re-enter as they can at Lang Park during the Magic Round.
