Tamika Upton, the Dally M medallist and star fullback for the Newcastle Knights, showcased her incredible skills in the NRLW grand final against the Gold Coast Titans.

With the Knights' hopes of defending their title fading, Upton dug deep and delivered a mesmerizing performance that solidified her status as one of the greatest female footy players.

Upton's heroics began when her team was trailing by six points with only 10 minutes remaining in the game.

Determined to turn the tide, she took matters into her own hands and with the help of a perfectly timed offload, she leveled the scores.

But Upton wasn't done yet.

With everything on the line, she executed a daring grubber kick and managed to collect the loose ball, scoring a try that only the most courageous players would attempt.

In addition to her try-scoring exploits, Upton also contributed two crucial try assists, further demonstrating her immense impact on the game.

Her scorching performance on the field, matched only by the sweltering weather in Sydney, left the crowd of 40,649 in awe.

The Knights' coach, Ronald Griffiths, acknowledged Upton's exceptional talent, stating, "If we look at the Dally M results, she certainly is (the best player in the world)." This praise is well-deserved, considering Upton's remarkable achievements, including now winning four NRLW titles.

As the dust settles on the drama-charged NRLW final, Tamika Upton's name will undoubtedly be etched in the annals of rugby league history.

Her exceptional skills, tenacity, and ability to thrive under pressure have solidified her position as one of the all-time greats in women's footy.
