Titans enforcer Shannon Mato is gearing up for the highly anticipated annual All Stars clash, and she's determined to honor her family heritage on the field.
Mato, who hails from Whangārei, New Zealand, has been a force to be reckoned with for the Māoris in recent years.
In fact, she made a huge impact in the 2023 encounter, racking up an impressive 177 running metres and playing a key role in their victory over the Indigenous All Stars.
Now, Mato finds herself back at the very stadium where she made her All Stars debut in 2021, ready to once again showcase her skills and reinforce her cultural connection.
Despite now calling Queensland home, she remains committed to her roots and is excited to be part of her favorite campaign yet.
