The Penrith Panthers, despite being understrength, were no match for the Newtown Jets at Henson Park on Saturday.
The Jets soared to victory, outclassing the Panthers with a final scoreline of 44-6.

Soni Luke displayed great skill by slicing through the Jets' defense and offloading to Preston Riki, who unfortunately dropped the ball under the posts, denying the Panthers their first points of the game.
Former Panther, Liam Ison, showed his class by scoring a sensational try for the Jets, exploiting a gap in the Panthers' defense.
Ison's speed and agility left the Panthers trailing in his wake as he touched down in the corner.
The conversion extended the Jets' lead to 12-0.
Ison continued to be a threat, repeatedly breaching the Panthers' defense, but their scrambling defense managed to prevent any further points from being scored.
