Off-contract Titan inks new contract

In a twist of fate, Gold Coast Titans forward Klese Haas, who was once left without a contract for next season, has now found a new home.

The younger sibling of NSW Blues and Brisbane Broncos star Payne Haas, Klese Haas has opted to stay with the Titans until 2027.

Rumours were rife earlier in the season that the Parramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos were eyeing Klese Haas, but he ultimately chose to remain loyal to the Titans.

A key player in Des Hasler's Titans rebuilding project, Haas has showcased his skills in 22 games this season, filling in admirably for the likes of Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and David Fifita when they were out injured.

At just 22 years old, Haas has already notched up 39 first-grade appearances and crossed the try line six times.

But it's clear that his peak performance is still on the horizon, making this re-signing a promising move for the talented forward.
