Peter Benjamin Uini, a rising star for the Sydney Roosters, has made headlines after leading his team to victory in the 2025 SG Ball Cup.
He is now focused on making his mark in the NRL.
Over recent seasons, the Roosters have seen several talented players emerge from their pathways system, including Robert Toia, who made his Origin debut for the Queensland Maroons after just ten matches.
As the Roosters transitioned following the departure of experienced forwards, a new wave of rookies like Blake Steep, Salesi Foketi, Siua Wong, and the Va'a brothers, De La Salle and Xavier, have begun to establish themselves.
Among this new cohort is Uini, who joined the Roosters in 2023 after a season with the Dolphins' Cyril Connell Cup side.
Uini hails from Wavell State High School in Queensland and has experienced a remarkable twelve months.
His journey includes winning the SG Ball Cup and making his debuts in both the Jersey Flegg Cup and NSW Cup competitions.
His aspirations to play in the NRL are now within reach as he continues to develop and make a name for himself at the Sydney Roosters.
