Triple treat for Turnbull after rookie season to remember
Caitlin Turnbull has had an exceptional week, capped off by the Wests Tigers extending her contract for an additional four seasons.
On Tuesday, it was confirmed that she would be staying long-term with the team, just one day after she returned from Port Moresby, where she played a key role in the Australian Prime Minister's XIII victory, contributing to a 50-0 win over the PNG team with a hat-trick of tries.
Making her debut in NRLW in Round 10, Turnbull quickly became a standout player, earning her club's rookie of the year title and being voted players' player at the end-of-season awards.
Although she was unable to attend the awards ceremony due to her international commitments, Turnbull is eager to build on her impressive performances in 2025, a season in which she played 10 matches, scored eight tries, and accumulated 1,296 running metres.
She also aims to leverage her experiences from the tour to enhance her team's performance in the upcoming season.
