Ahead of the 2026 NRL season, Melbourne Storm winger Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown is eager to increase his game time, having made his NRL debut last season.
He stepped in as a last-minute substitute during the club's Round 18 match against the North Queensland Cowboys, becoming one of the latest debutants for the Storm. This opportunity allowed him to play alongside notable players such as Jahrome Hughes, Nick Meaney, and Nelson Asofa-Solomona.
Even though that match was his sole NRL appearance so far, Tuimalatu-Brown has continued to impress in the NSW Cup with the North Sydney Bears, culminating in a grand final victory with the Under-21s Jersey Flegg Cup team.
Now, he aims to extend his match experience, aspiring to be a consistent backup for his role models, Xavier Coates and Will Warbrick, on the wing.
"Now I want to play more NRL games and stack them up.
"I idolise Xavier and Will Warbrick. They don't know it, but I look up to them big time and I try and take every key point from them."
While his contract situation remains uncertain, Tuimalatu-Brown will continue with the Storm for at least the next 12 months, recently returning from a visit with Leinster Rugby, recognized as four-time European champions in the 15-man code.
