Nick Tsougranis has become the fourth graduate of the Dragons Academy to make his NRL debut for the St George Illawarra club in 2025.
He follows fellow academy graduates Hamish Stewart, Dylan Egan, and Loko Pasifiki Tonga, who debuted earlier this season.
Tsougranis, who hails from Arncliffe Scots, has had an impressive journey through the junior representative levels, playing two seasons each in the Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball.
He debuted in the Jersey Flegg competition in 2022, followed by his Knock-On Effect NSW Cup debut in 2023, where he also received recognition with a spot on the Under 19s State of Origin team for the Blues.
During the current season, Tsougranis has made 11 appearances in the NSW Cup, accumulating five tries, six try assists, 11 line breaks, 38 tackle breaks, and averaging 111 run metres.
In his NRL debut, at nearly 21 years old, he showcased his skills by running for 162 metres on 19 carries, which was the highest on his team, along with making two tackle breaks and contributing 20 tackles.
