'I'm in cracking form': Cowboys stalwart gunning for contract extension

After breaking the club's try-scoring record earlier this season, North Queensland Cowboys veteran Kyle Feldt is determined to secure a new contract extension.

As one of the seasoned campaigners in the Cowboys squad, Feldt's current contract expires at the end of the season, leaving his future hanging in the balance.

A loyal Cowboy through and through, the 32-year-old has racked up an impressive 212 appearances for the club since his debut in 2013, showing that he still has what it takes to compete at the top level.

In an interview with Zero Tackle, the experienced winger expressed his desire to continue wearing the Cowboys jersey for years to come, believing that he is currently playing some of the best footy of his career, like a fine wine getting better with age.

"Yeah, obviously I would love to stick around at the club," Feldt told Zero Tackle with a confident grin.
