The Canterbury Bulldogs have locked in their talented winger, Ratu Rinakama, with a contract extension after his standout performance in the pre-season clash against the Wests Tigers.

Hailing from Bankstown Bulls and Chest Hill Hornets junior ranks, Rinakama has pledged his allegiance to the Bulldogs until the end of the 2027 NRL season, cementing his place in the full-time squad.

At just 18 years old, Rinakama is a rising star who has shone in the SG Ball Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Finals last year.

A proud representative of Fiji's 2024 Pacific Championships squad, he is not just a force on the field but also a dedicated student pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering.

"Jethro has been a real linchpin for the pathway system, embodying the club's values both on and off the field," commented Bulldogs GM of Football, Phil Gould, praising Rinakama's commitment and talent.

With this contract extension, Rinakama is set to make his mark in the NRL and continue the Bulldogs' legacy of nurturing top-class talent.
