weststigers.com.au have confirmed that Tristan Hope has been promoted to a Development deal for the 2025 season.
The 27-year-old hooker started with the club on a train-and-trial contract before the 2025 pre-season, and his hard work has paid off with this upgrade.
Following his rise to Development player status, Hope will be making his club debut off the interchange bench in Friday's Round 1 clash against the Knights at Campbelltown.
Hope was a crucial part of the Brisbane Tigers Queensland Cup championship-winning team in 2023, alongside his Wests Tigers Development teammate Solomona Faataape.
The Toowoomba native has racked up 69 appearances in the Queensland Cup competition since his debut with Redcliffe in 2018.
He caught the eye in the two Pre-Season Challenge games for Wests Tigers this year, even notching a try in the recent victory over the Eels at Leichhardt Oval.
With his promotion, Hope is now ready to take the next step in his Rugby League career and make his mark on the field with the Wests Tigers.
Here's to hoping he continues to impress and show his true potential in the upcoming season.
