In a thrilling clash against the Storm, Roosters coach Trent Robinson has unleashed a flurry of criticism on the Bunker for two crucial decisions that he believes cost his team the game at Allianz Stadium.

The match saw the Storm emerge victorious with an 18-12 win, scoring three tries to the Roosters' two, all of which came from kicks.

The game was marred by errors and penalties, with neither team finding their attacking rhythm.

Robinson, however, felt aggrieved by the Bunker's rulings, claiming that his side should have been awarded two additional penalties which could have changed the course of the game.

The most contentious moment came when Eliesa Katoa caught a Cameron Munster kick to score, with teammate Nelson Asofa-Solomona accused of pushing a defender to assist in the try.

The off-season rule changes stipulated that penalties should be awarded if a player lending weight contributes to a try-scoring opportunity.

Robinson, known for his no-nonsense approach, did not mince his words, stating, "The rules are really clear." With a hint of frustration in his voice, the seasoned coach emphasized the importance of following the new interpretations and ensuring fair play on the field.
