Trent Robinson has been accused of 'dropping the ball' at the Roosters after a warning from skipper James Tedesco.

Broncos legend Corey Parker has predicted that the Roosters will miss out on the top eight this season, suggesting that Robinson has not planned well for the future of the team.

Tedesco also cautioned that the team needs to improve their defense if they want to be contenders in 2025.

The Roosters have said goodbye to over 1200 games worth of experience with the departures of key players like Jared Waerea-Hargraves, Luke Keary, and Joseph Manu.

The only significant addition to the team is veteran halfback Chad Townsend, leading many to describe the Roosters as a team in transition.

Despite the departure of experienced players, the Roosters have some promising young talent like Mark Nawaqanitawase and Robert Toia in the centers, with Sandon Smith expected to partner with Townsend in the halves.

However, experts like Parker believe that the lack of experience and a failure to adequately replace key players will leave the Roosters vulnerable this season, possibly missing out on a spot in the finals.

"I'm ruling the Roosters out of the top eight," Parker stated on SEN radio.

"They've lost 1257 games of experience from last year...

and I have concerns about where they're at now based on that experience." Parker also noted that injuries to Sam Walker and Brandon Smith will further weaken the Roosters in the first half of the season, adding to their challenges.
