Trbojevic Indicates LikTrbojevic Hints at Contract Renewal with Manly

Manly Sea Eagles' standout fullback Tom Trbojevic may have hinted at his intention to re-sign with the club. Recently, he purchased a $4.3 million home located on the Northern Beaches in Collaroy Plateau, just four kilometers from the Sea Eagles' base in Brookvale, according to Realestate.com.au.

Currently, Trbojevic's contract with Manly runs until the end of 2026, but he is in discussions to potentially extend his tenure, even if it means accepting a slightly lower salary. As the November 1 deadline approaches, speculation regarding Tom and his brother Jake Trbojevic's futures is intensifying. After this date, players whose contracts end in 2026 can negotiate with rival teams for the 2027 season and beyond.

Despite facing injury challenges throughout his career, Trbojevic, when healthy, remains one of the league's top talents. It seems plausible that he wouldn't want to play against the Sea Eagles after a long stint with the organization. Even with alternative options like Lehi Hopoate and Tolutau Koula available for the fullback position, there's a possibility that a contract extension could lead to Trbojevic shifting to the centers, a position he has occasionally filled for Manly and during his time with New South Wales.
