Tom Trbojevic's contract situation with the Manly Sea Eagles has come to a conclusion, as the talented fullback has signed a one-year extension, ensuring his stay with the NRL club until the end of 2027.

On Tuesday, Trbojevic put an end to months of speculation regarding his future by finalizing the agreement just days before November 1, the date when rival clubs could begin making offers.

This new contract reportedly involves a notable pay decrease from his existing agreement, which is worth approximately $1.2 million for the upcoming season.

Trbojevic has made it clear that he would never compete against Manly, the club he has been affiliated with since his youth, although there was considerable interest from clubs in England if negotiations had faltered.

"I'm so pleased to be staying at Manly for at least another two seasons," he expressed. "This club is such a big part of my life and always will be."

In August, Trbojevic addressed rumors about his dissatisfaction with the club's direction and acknowledged that his performance had contributed to the Sea Eagles' struggles.

Initially, discussions were aimed at a two-year extension, but negotiations extended over time, leading to reports of discontent.
