The Warriors are welcoming back a top trio of players for their upcoming NRL Heritage Round match against Brisbane at Go Media Stadium on Saturday.
Mitchell Barnett, Kurt Capewell, and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak are all making their return to the team, but unfortunately, Shaun Johnson will be sidelined due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Capewell, who is also on Queensland's interchange bench, and Barnett, who is the 18th man for New South Wales in Origin II, are expected to back up for the Warriors just three days after their representative duties.
Barnett will slot back into the second row, with Dylan Walker moving to the interchange, while Capewell will resume his bench role.
Watene-Zelezniak is back from a one-match suspension and will take his spot on the right wing, replacing Edward Kosi.
Despite the boost from the returning players, the Warriors will have to manage without the experience of Johnson on the field for at least four weeks.
It's a tough blow for the team, but they will have to rally together and show their resilience on the field.
As they say in Rugby League, it's all about playing with heart and giving it your all, even in the face of adversity.
The Warriors will need to dig deep and find the strength to overcome this challenge as they take on Brisbane this weekend.
