The top ten props of 2025
How often do we hear it? "Halves can't play behind beaten forward packs!"
NRL middles are perhaps the most underappreciated athletes in sports. They take on the heaviest workload, initiating plays with tough first hits in crucial games. These players face tough tackles and are responsible for a significant number of defensive efforts.
Today, we will highlight the best of these giants in the game.
If you're searching for Pat Carrigan, he's listed as a lock, having played 13 games in that position and 12 as a prop. Similarly, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is also noted in the locks.
Mitch Barnett unfortunately does not make the cut because he only played 11 games, though he was on track to rank very highly.
As always, this ranking reflects only performance from 2025 and is not a static Top Ten list.
