Every NRL season, clubs actively pursue new signings, sparking a wave of hope and excitement among fans who believe these additions will propel their teams toward premiership contention.
While some signings certainly do achieve that dream, many others fall short.
Reasons for these disappointments can vary from injuries to poor performances or conflicts with coaching staff, often leading to dwindling enthusiasm among fans who then eagerly await the next season's signings to repeat the cycle of anticipation.
This is undoubtedly a subjective topic; opinions on which signings have been the most underwhelming will differ widely.
However, in my view, these are the six most disappointing signings of the 2025 NRL season.
