The lads over at seaeagles.com.au have dropped the news that the Dally M Team of the Year nominees have been unleashed into the footy arena.

The National Rugby League has revealed a squad of 35 players who are in the running for a spot in the 2024 NRL Dally M Team of the Year, as well as contenders for Coach, Captain, and Rookie of the Year accolades.

Among the star-studded list of nominees is none other than Dally M Medallist James Tedesco, who took home the prestigious award back in 2019.

Also making the cut are five players who graced the 2023 Dally M Team of the Year: Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins) and Stephen Crichton (Bulldogs) holding it down in the centres, the hard-hitting prop Addin Fonua-Blake (Warriors), hooker extraordinaire Harry Grant (Storm), and lock Pat Carrigan (Broncos) bringing the heat.

The NRL Dally M Team of the Year is all about recognising the cream of the crop in each position throughout the grueling regular season.

Each position sees three contenders battling it out for the top spot, while dual-position players in the wing, centre, second row, and front row categories have five hopefuls vying for glory.

The Dally M Awards celebrate the standout performers from both the NRL Telstra Premiership and NRL Telstra Women's Premiership every year, with this year's winners set to be crowned on Wednesday, October 2 in the heart of Sydney.

It's gonna be a night filled with passion, sweat, and grit as these footy warriors vie for the ultimate prize.
