To'o's Game 3 fate hangs by a thread

New South Wales Blues head coach Laurie Daley has indicated that winger Brian To'o's participation in Game 3 of the 2025 State of Origin series is uncertain.

Following a knee injury sustained during the Penrith Panthers' match against the Canterbury Bulldogs, To'o underwent scans, and Daley confirmed his doubtful status on Monday.

With nearly two weeks left until the match, the exact severity of To'o's injury remains unclear.

However, concerns prompted Daley to name Jacob Kiraz, a winger for the Canterbury Bulldogs, as the 18th man for the game.

"The reason why I picked Jacob, we've got one bloke who is in a bit of doubt and that's Brian To'o," Daley explained on Sky Sports' Radio's Big Sports Breakfast.

He emphasized the importance of preparing Kiraz adequately, noting, "We want to give him every chance to play and because the Bulldogs are playing on the Friday night we want to make sure if Brian is ruled out than Jacob has had a full 11 days preparation with us."
