Tony Williams, a former NSW Blues and Australia Kangaroos representative, has signed with the Narellan Jets, marking his return to rugby league.

As reported by zerotackle.com, Williams last played in the NRL in 2018 and aims to continue his career in the Group 6 Macarthur competition.

A one-time premiership winner, Williams had an 11-season career in the NRL from 2008 to 2018, participating in 170 first-grade matches with teams including the Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles, Canterbury Bulldogs, and Cronulla Sharks.

He started as an outside back before transitioning into the forward pack and made three appearances for the NSW Blues in the State of Origin.

Williams also represented Tonga in five matches and played for Australia three times on the international stage.

However, his career faced a setback when he received a 12-month suspension at the end of 2018 for failing a second drug test, which prematurely ended his time in the league.
