In a recent interview, Tom Trbojevic made it clear that he isn't buying into the chat about him switching positions to reduce the risk of injury.

Despite constant outside noise from experts, the Manly superstar is confident in his ability to thrive as a fullback.

Trbojevic highlighted the fact that his last injury occurred while playing in the centres for NSW, indicating that his issues cannot be solely attributed to his playing position.

Over the past five seasons, the Dally M Medal winner has been plagued by various injuries, limiting his game time to just 55 matches.

Some voices in the game have suggested a move to centre to alleviate the strain on his body, but Trbojevic, who has bulked up significantly, remains unconvinced.

Referring to his torn pec suffered while defending as a right centre against the Maroons, he quipped, "It's interesting because I think I hurt myself in the centres, so I don't know about that one." With a hint of subtle Australian slang, Trbojevic brushed off the opinions of others, asserting that they are entitled to their own views while he doesn't feel obliged to comment on them.

As he embarks on a new season with the Sea Eagles, he looks forward to working with the team's new Blues coach and showcasing his prowess as a fullback once again.
