Toby Sexton, a key playmaker nearing the end of his contract with the Canterbury Bulldogs after the 2025 NRL season, is reportedly attracting interest from new suitors as his stay with the Bulldogs seems unlikely to continue beyond this year.
Originally signed from the Gold Coast Titans, Sexton's tenure with the Bulldogs began poorly, where he mainly participated in the NSW Cup and was overshadowed by teammates Matt Burton and Drew Hutchison.
However, he made a significant turnaround, being promoted to the NRL and enjoying a breakout season in 2024, which saw him lead the Bulldogs to the NRL Finals.
Sexton has maintained strong form into the current season, becoming crucial to the Bulldogs' success.
Nevertheless, his future at the club is uncertain following the announcement that Lachlan Galvin will be joining the team immediately, a move that could displace Sexton from the lineup.
This situation has led to renewed interest from the Gold Coast Titans, who are actively seeking a halfback and with whom Sexton shares established relationships through his previous stint at the club.
