The Gold Coast Titans have recognized the impressive performances of Jensen Taumoepeau and Jett Liu by promoting them to the club's Top 30 roster.
Both players have shown significant growth throughout the summer and preseason challenges, warranting their upgrades.
Taumoepeau emerged as a standout talent during the trial matches, showcasing his versatility as an explosive outside back with remarkable agility.
Having been born in New Zealand, he is currently considered a strong contender for selection in Round 1, providing valuable injury cover for the centres and wingers with his six-man bench inclusion.
Alongside Taumoepeau, Liu adds an impressive presence to the Titans' forward pack, bringing size and mobility as he vies for his first NRL appearance.
Should Liu be given the opportunity to play at the top level, he aims to assist skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui in the middle of the field, which will surely enhance his overall game.
Titans head coach Josh Hannay commended the duo on their well-deserved placements in the Top 30, expressing enthusiasm for their continued development.
"Jensen and Jett have shown a continued hunger to better themselves as players over the pre-season and I'm pleased we can elevate them as a reward for their hard work," Hannay noted.
"We've wanted to raise the floor of the squad this year and these two have been part of that journey by making the most of their new opportunity, pressing their claims to earn a spot in the Round 1 team."
