In a hard-fought battle against the formidable Melbourne Storm, the Gold Coast Titans were unable to come out on top, ultimately losing by a score of 37-16.

Despite the loss, Titans player Tino Fa'asuamaleaui once again showcased his inspirational skills, helping his team stay in the fight against the top-four juggernauts.

Before the game even began, the Titans faced a setback with the withdrawal of Moeaki Fotuaika due to the birth of his first child.

However, the Titans skipper stepped up to nullify Fotuaika's absence, leading his team in a valiant effort to pull off an upset against Melbourne.

Unfortunately, the Titans' momentum took a hit when Kieran Foran was sent from the field for a head injury assessment, disrupting their flow and allowing the home side to take control of the game.

The Storm's playmaking duo of Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes proved instrumental in their team's dominance, especially in the final 20 minutes of the match.

The introduction of Papenhuyzen in the 62nd minute also played a significant role in shifting the momentum in favor of the Storm.

The crowd rallied behind him, providing an extra boost that helped propel the home team to victory.

Despite the absence of Fotuaika, Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui delivered yet another exceptional performance.

He ran for over 200 meters during the game, with 103 of those meters coming after contact.

This outstanding display of strength and determination marked the third time this year that Fa'asuamaleaui has reached the double century mark in terms of running meters.

Additionally, he made 37 tackles, the most of any Titans player in the match.

Although the Titans were unable to secure a win against the Storm, their spirited effort and Fa'asuamaleaui's outstanding performance should be recognized.

The team fought hard and posed a challenge to one of the league's top contenders, showcasing their potential for future success.
