titans.com.au have announced that the Titans will be relocating to Sydney for their opener after the effects of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

The team is currently experiencing the aftermath of the storm, much like many others on the Gold Coast and across South East Queensland.

In a move that puts the safety of the players and staff first, the NRL squad will make their way to Sydney on Tuesday to get ready for Sunday's game against the Bulldogs.

The team's training base at Parkwood has taken a beating from the extreme weather, with water reaching heights well above the crossbar on the NRL team training field.

The dojo facility, where the team warms up, wrestles, and does indoor training, has also suffered damage due to the harsh conditions.

CEO Steve Mitchell expressed confidence in the team's readiness for Round 2, eager to show the Titans communities from Logan to Lismore what they're made of this weekend.
