The Titans have been forced to relocate to Sydney due to the severe impact of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred on the Gold Coast.

The team's training base at Parkwood has been significantly affected by the extreme weather, with water covering the NRL team training field and damaging the club's dojo facility used for warm-up and indoor training.

With player and staff safety as the top priority, the Titans will be preparing for their upcoming game against the Bulldogs in Sydney.

CEO Steve Mitchell expressed confidence that the team will be ready to play in Round 2 and is determined to make the Titans communities proud from Logan to Lismore this weekend.

Mitchell stated, "We will be ready to play in Round 2, eager to make the Titans communities from Logan to Lismore proud this weekend." The relocation to Sydney comes after many on the Gold Coast and across South East Queensland have been affected by the flooding caused by ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

NRL.com.au reported that the Titans will be heading to Sydney on Tuesday to prepare for their game on Sunday.

The decision to move the team to Sydney was made due to the severe impact of the extreme weather on the club's training facilities, with water levels rising well above the crossbar on the training field.

Despite the challenges posed by the flooding, the Titans remain focused on putting on a competitive performance and representing their supporters in the upcoming match against the Bulldogs.
