Gold Coast Titans coach Josh Hannay has been grappling with several challenges since taking over the club, and now he faces yet another setback.
England's AJ Brimson is reportedly dealing with a serious shoulder injury, adding to the team's struggles after a 3-0 Ashes series defeat to Australia.
Brimson, who recently switched his allegiance from Australia to England due to his mother's heritage, sustained considerable AC joint damage within the first 10 minutes of England's 30-8 loss at Headingley.
The 27-year-old had to leave the field, leaving coach Shaun Wane feeling devastated.
"He's really, really damaged his AC, it's bad, and they're really painful," Wane told AAP.
"He was so gutted to come off.
"He's a brave kid and he's loved his time here.
