The Gold Coast Titans were on fire in their NRL 2024 clash against the lacklustre Eels, claiming their third consecutive victory and keeping their finals dream alive.

Alofiana Khan-Pereira, the Titans' star player and top try scorer of the season, shone with a double to secure a decisive 24-16 win in front of a crowd of 16,670 at Cbus Super Stadium.

Coach Des Hasler's boys have hit their stride, showcasing their attacking prowess and solid defensive efforts which have been reminiscent of the glory days of Rugby League.

With six wins under their belt for the season, the Titans are now breathing down the neck of eighth-placed Manly, just three points adrift.

The team's cohesion in both attack and defense has reached peak levels since Hasler's arrival, with their sharp ball movement leaving the Eels scrambling and their defensive organization proving impenetrable.

"the defense has really stepped up as the season has progressed," remarked Titans half Kieran Foran.

With their momentum building and their eye on the finals prize, the Titans are proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the NRL 2024 season.
