Titans Secure Jayden Campbell Until 2031

The Gold Coast Titans have achieved another significant retention milestone by securing spine player Jayden Campbell's commitment until the end of 2031. This announcement comes just after the Titans confirmed the re-signing of second-rower Beau Fermor through to 2029, marking a boost for the team and posing challenges for the Perth Bears as they attempt to form their first 30-man roster.

With Campbell's five-year contract, reportedly valued at $4.5 million, the Bears face another setback. He is expected to forfeit approximately $1.5 million, as reports indicate that the Bears had proposed a $6 million deal for the same duration.

Despite interest from other Sydney clubs, Campbell seems to have opted to stay with the Titans. His decision solidifies his future with the Gold Coast, ensuring he remains part of the team until at least 2031. Should Tino Fa'asuamaleaui exercise his player options, Campbell will become one of the longest-contracted players on the roster, highlighting the club's belief in him as their long-term halfback.

Expressing his sentiments, Campbell, the son of former player Preston Campbell, conveyed his love for the club and his gratitude for the opportunity to extend his time with them.
