The Gold Coast Titans have made a groundbreaking decision to introduce milestone celebrations for players in the NRLW Telstra Premiership.
The Titans, as reported on their official website titans.com.au, have recognized the need to establish and determine club-celebrated milestones for their women's squad.
This move comes as the women's competition continues to grow year-on-year, mirroring the success of the traditional NRL.
In a departure from the typical 50-game milestones celebrated in the NRL, Gold Coast coach Karyn Murphy and the team's leadership group have agreed to commemorate achievements every 25 games.
This decision aims to honor the hard work and dedication of the players in the NRLW.
The Titans have also taken the opportunity to retrospectively acknowledge past milestone players, including Jess Elliston, who will make her 25th NRLW appearance in the team's final regular season game.
Additionally, the club will recognize the achievements of Steph Hancock (30), Shaylee Bent (27), Brittany Breayley-Nati (27), Karina Brown (27), and Georgia Hale (27).
This landmark decision highlights the Titans' commitment to supporting and recognizing the achievements of their NRLW players.
