Four months after turning down a transfer to the North Queensland Cowboys, Gold Coast Titans forward Jaimin Jolliffe is reportedly in negotiations with an NRL team regarding a new contract.
Having reached the 100-match milestone earlier this year, Jolliffe has proven to be a dependable player for the Titans, both off the interchange bench and as a starting front-rower. He notably averaged about 60 minutes per game during the latter part of the 2025 season.
Despite his consistent contributions since his debut in 2020, uncertainty looms over his future due to his team's continuing salary cap issues. Recently, he has piqued the interest of overseas clubs like the Castleford Tigers and St Helens, which led to speculation about his departure from the NRL. However, The Courier Mail reports that the Gold Coast Titans have intensified discussions with Jolliffe regarding a contract extension.
"Well, I'm contracted here next year," he stated in August. "I'm here at the Titans, and that's just my focus and contract talks. When that pops up, my manager gets in touch with me, and we'll deal with that then."
"But for the next year, I'm definitely here and I'd love to stay here. I'd love to see success at this club, and I've been here a long time now, and we've got such a talented roster, but we haven't got it together."
