Gold Coast Titans front-rower Jaimin Jolliffe has reportedly turned down a transfer to the North Queensland Cowboys, opting instead to complete his current contract with the Titans.
After playing his 100th NRL match against the Penrith Panthers last weekend, Jolliffe's future had been uncertain due to the Titans' salary cap challenges. According to The Courier-Mail, Jolliffe has declined an offer from the Cowboys despite their interest.
Initially starting the season on the interchange bench, the 28-year-old has earned a spot in the starting line-up and has consistently performed well, averaging 97 running meters and 33 tackles per match.
Jolliffe is contracted for another 12 months, extending until the end of 2026. The Titans reportedly were willing to let him go, as it could have alleviated some of their salary cap constraints.
