New Titans coach Des Hasler is confident that he has the necessary foundation to bring a first-ever premiership to the Gold Coast.

He sees himself as an integral part of the club's long-term success plan.

Hasler's appointment has been eagerly anticipated, and even before his official unveiling, the Titans accommodated his request for a dojo at their training base in Parkwood.

As the team prepares for the upcoming season, Hasler will need to address the same challenges faced by previous coaches, such as Justin Holbrook and Jim Lenihan.

One of his main priorities is improving the team's consistency in their performance during the latter stages of games.

This issue has been identified as a key area for improvement by the two-time premiership-winning coach.

To shift the squad's mindset and achieve their goals, Hasler will rely on the leadership of captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and experienced five-eighth Kieran Foran.

Fa'asuamaleaui is currently representing the Kangaroos in the Pacific Championships final, while Foran will be playing against him for the Kiwis.

With Hasler's strategic vision and the talent within the team, the Titans are hopeful of making significant progress and competing for the ultimate prize in the upcoming season.

The coach's presence and his plans for long-term success have brought a renewed sense of optimism to the club and its fans.
