Titans Fear Losing Rising Star Hau

The Gold Coast Titans are anxiously awaiting the re-signing of rookie sensation Arama Hau as teams begin to recognize his exceptional skills.

A standout outing against the St George Illawarra Dragons saw Hau score twice, effortlessly breaking through the Red V defense.

This explosive ball runner is often compared to Sea Eagles powerhouse Haumole Olakau'atu and former Titan David Fifita, who not only attended the same high school but also provided mentorship during Hau's growth.

As he enters contract negotiations at the end of the season, the Daily Telegraph reveals that the Perth Bears are eyeing Hau, particularly after he showcased his ability to perform as a competitive 80-minute back rower following Fifita's exit.

Mal Meninga had a significant impact on Hau's journey while he was the head coach for the Titans pathways and is interested in luring him to the west.

Reports suggest that the local junior was very close to making the switch to the Bears; however, a sudden change of mind may keep him in Queensland for the time being.

"I am pinching myself every day doing something I love," Hau shared with the Daily Telegraph.

"To get a win in front of everyone and show the Gold Coast what we're working on is good.

"I have always backed myself against anyone."
