The young gun from the Wests Tigers, Lachlan Galvin, who shone like a bright star in their victory over the Parramatta Eels on Easter Monday, has decided to take a two-game breather.
During the heated contest, Galvin found himself in the sin-bin after executing a hip-drop tackle on Kelma Tuilagi.
The Match Review Committee (MRC) didn't take too kindly to this move and hit him with a Grade 3 Dangerous Contact charge.
Galvin has the option to only sit out for two games if he accepts his guilt early, but if he decides to put up a fight and ends up on the wrong side of the judiciary, he could be looking at a three-game break.
The Wests Tigers hierarchy confirmed on Tuesday that Galvin has chosen the path of least resistance and accepted his fate with an early plea.
"I don't reckon Lachie's tackle was that bad," commented Tigers coach Benji Marshall after the game on Monday, sticking up for his player.
