In a tough match against the Sharks, the Titans suffered a 36-6 defeat, with the home team showcasing their dominance.

However, amidst the loss, the Titans found solace in the return of Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, their captain, who delivered an outstanding 69-minute performance.

Fa'asuamaleaui recorded an impressive 214 running metres and seven tackle breaks.

Despite his herculean efforts, the Sharks were relentless in their pursuit of a finals berth, displaying their strength on their home turf.

Round 24 provided several key talking points, one being the potential game-changing decisions that went against the Gold Coast team.

In the 29th minute, Phil Sami's try was disallowed due to a forward pass ruling, denying the Titans the opportunity to equalize the score at 10-10.

Instead, the Sharks capitalized on this setback by scoring in the subsequent set, further extending their lead and adding insult to injury for the Titans.
