Wests Tigers winger Sunia Turuva has expressed regret over mocking Lachlan Galvin on social media after the teenager decided to leave the club for a contract with the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Turuva and teammate Jarome Luai criticized Galvin's decision to reject a lucrative contract extension with Wests Tigers in April, sharing their sentiments on Instagram.

Their posts sparked speculation about a rift within the Tigers' squad, leading Galvin's management to issue a legal letter to the club regarding allegations of bullying.

Despite the controversy, Turuva, known for his upbeat personality, is moving forward as he gears up to face his former club, Penrith, while Galvin is set to make his potential Bulldogs debut soon.

Reflecting on the situation, Turuva stated, "Looking back on it, I wouldn't have done the post in the first place," acknowledging that he would change his actions if given another chance.
