Tigers train, but Reynolds remains a distant goal

The Wests Tigers have confirmed their first acquisition following the departure of Galvin, signing Taylan May on a train-and-trial deal and making a formal offer to Brisbane veteran Adam Reynolds.

According to zerotackle.com, May's return marks a significant step for the Tigers as the former Panthers player will join the team for the remainder of 2025.

This move completes a quiet pursuit that began when domestic violence charges against him were withdrawn.

Since then, May has entered treatment and spent time in a mental health facility.

Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson reportedly initiated discussions around May's return shortly after his release.

He expressed optimism regarding the signing, stating, "Clearly, Taylan is a quality player who will further strengthen the squad in the back end of the competition."
