Tigers teenage sensation Heamasi Makasini, who is drawing parallels to All Blacks icon Jonah Lomu, suggests that a return to rugby union is a "100 per cent" possibility in the future.
Makasini is gearing up for only his second appearance in the NRL as the Wests Tigers take on North Queensland at Leichhardt Oval this Sunday. The 18-year-old made a notable impact by scoring during his debut against the Titans in the final match of last season, all while still attending school.
He further showcased his talent with an impressive pre-season try where he charged past Penrith fullback Dylan Edwards. This remarkable display led to him being likened to Lomu, the renowned All Black celebrated for overpowering opponents.
"In the moment it was just adrenaline," Makasini shared after being announced as the latest addition to the roster of sporting ambassadors for the fashion brand Farage.
