The latest report from weststigers.com.au reveals that the Tigers have clinched their first victory of the 2025 season, putting on a stellar performance to secure a 32-6 win against the Eels at CommBank Stadium in Round 2.

In a game filled with early errors from both sides, it was Wests Tigers who were able to seize the moment and break the deadlock in the 26th minute.

Jahream Bula showed his skills by setting up Turuva for a try on the right side, with some slick teamwork from Starford To'a.

To'a then showed his own brilliance with a magnificent run that left Will Penisini in his wake, diving over in the corner for a spectacular try.

The Tigers outdid themselves with what could be considered the try of the day in the 39th minute.

Bula's fancy footwork on a kick return created space for Adam Doueihi, who then passed to a charging Lachlan Galvin.

The young gun collected the ball and scored under the posts, giving the Tigers a comfortable 16-0 lead heading into halftime.

A well-executed grubber kick from Luai set up the next try for Wests Tigers, as Galvin kicked ahead for Jeral Skelton to touch down and score his second try in as many games for his new team.
