In a move that has Wests Tigers fans cheering from the stands, Shane Richardson has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal to steer the club in the right direction.

Coach Benji Marshall couldn't be happier with the news, praising Richardson for his commitment to the Tigers' rebuild despite whispers of a potential return to South Sydney.

Richardson, with a successful history at clubs like the Rabbitohs, Panthers, and Sharks, is determined to bring success to the Tigers and secure their second premiership.

"This is a golden opportunity for me to help lead this club to victory," Richardson expressed.

"Wests Tigers has a close-knit community of supporters and members backing us every step of the way.

We're on a winning streak, so hop on board!"

After a thorough review into the Tigers' struggles over the past decade, Richardson was brought on board in December to shake things up.

With Marshall at the helm as coach, the duo will now have four years to turn the team's fortunes around and bring home that elusive premiership.
