The Wests Tigers have expressed their support for five-eighth Lachlan Galvin, who is set to return to the NRL against the Cronulla Sharks this Sunday.
This comes after Galvin was confirmed to leave the Tigers at the end of 2026, leading to speculation about his future ahead of the open market on November 1.
Following the announcement, Galvin voiced concerns about his development under Benji Marshall, which triggered a swift backlash.
Some teammates ridiculed him on social media, and allegations of bullying surfaced.
Galvin was dropped from the NRL lineup for the previous game against the Parramatta Eels but is making a comeback this weekend.
In a media session, Marshall stated, "I'm sick of talking about that.
I've said it every week, I'll pick the team that I think is best," asserting his approach toward team selection without needing further justification.
