The Wests Tigers, a Rugby League club, have initiated an external review of their operations following two consecutive wooden spoons, a term used to describe finishing last in the competition.
This decision came after a meeting with frustrated fans who expressed their dissatisfaction with the club's performance.
Over 2000 fans signed a petition calling for a complete overhaul of the club.
The review will be conducted by Tony Crawford, former NRL chief financial officer, and Gary Barnier, managing director of Cooperage Capital Pty Ltd.
The club's owners, the Holman Barnes Group, released a statement expressing their gratitude to the fans for their feedback and support in this matter.
The Tigers have experienced years of turmoil, and this review aims to address the issues and improve the club's governance.
