LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Wests Tigers forward Tony Sukkar has officially extended his contract with the club through to the end of the 2026 NRL season, as reported by zerotackle.com.

The 21-year-old made his NRL debut in Round 27 of last year and has since played three additional games this season.

Currently in his first season with the Tigers' Top 30 roster, Sukkar's career began in the club's pathways system, progressing from a development contract to this new agreement.

Although he has played all his games this season from the interchange bench, he is viewed as a vital part of the team's future.

His one-year contract extension reflects the club's confidence in his potential.

Sukkar has stood out in his limited playing time, showcasing strong running ability and an excellent work ethic defensively, missing only three tackles over 120 minutes of NRL gameplay this season.
