Wests Tigers fans are gearing up for another significant protest following the recent massive rally that highlighted their frustrations with the club's management.
After hundreds of supporters united to express their discontent, they emphatically stated, "It is the Wests Tigers. Not Magpies. Not Balmain."
A substantial crowd assembled at Pratten Park over the weekend, calling for the Holman Barnes Group to step down amid ongoing turmoil in the club's boardroom that has lasted for two weeks.
Although fans intended to march to Wests Ashfield Leagues Club, safety concerns prevented the march at the last moment.
This obstacle did not dampen their spirits, as over 1,000 dedicated supporters chanted their demands along Arthur Street, accompanied by Inner West mayor Darcy Byrne.
Despite the sweltering heat, Tigers fans traveled from as far as Tasmania, Ipswich, and Perth to participate in the rally.
Included in the gathering were key club figures such as Gary Barnier, who led the independent review that resulted in new directors joining the board, and Wests Tigers icon Steve 'Blocker' Roach, who has expressed significant concerns about the club's current path.
