Wests Tigers faced a defeat of 30-8 against the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 8 of the NRLW on Sunday evening.
The scoring was initiated by Cowboys co-captain Emma Manzelmann, who executed an impressive solo try, maneuvering through from almost 40 meters out.
Wests Tigers' Pihuka Berryman-Duff soon followed, powering over from dummy half in the 12th minute to register their first points.
However, just three minutes later, Kirra Dibb outdid her efforts with a dummy that extended the Cowboys' lead to eight points.
Wests Tigers fought back with an improvised play on the last tackle, allowing Lily Rogan to score her first NRLW try in the corner, bringing the halftime score to 12-8.
The second half saw the Cowboys dominate, starting with China Polata scoring on her return from an ACL injury, complemented by tries from Jasmine Peters and Jakiya Whitfeld.
The match concluded with a score of 30-8 on a gloomy Sunday night at Leichhardt Oval.
