The Wests Tigers have announced plans to hold six matches at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in 2027 as part of their ongoing venue strategy.
With the redevelopment of Leichhardt Oval set to begin next year, the Tigers are increasing their focus on hosting games in south western Sydney.
Once Leichhardt reopens, it is anticipated that the two venues will trade hosting duties, allowing the Tigers to refine their long-term stadium plan.
In the interim, Campbelltown will host games alongside Parramatta's CommBank Stadium, where the Tigers have played several matches this season.
The six matches at Campbelltown in 2027 mark the highest total for the club since 2002, and they have committed to at least a 15-year presence there following the 2028 redevelopment.
The team also confirmed that four games, including Easter Monday, will continue at CommBank Stadium, while additional home games will be at Magic Round or on the road, likely in regional NSW.
"It's a great moment for the Club and signifies the intentions in South West Sydney for many years to come," said Tigers CEO Shaun Mielekamp.
"Playing the bulk of the games at Campbelltown Stadium is critical to the strategy in the region and lays the foundation for the work we'll be doing through the pathways, in the community and to support participation in league."
"We are a proud joint-venture club - stretching from Leichhardt to Leumeah - but know just how critical the work in the South West is to the future of the Wests Tigers.
"We're so appreciative of the work of Campbelltown Council, it's a genuine partnership that goes well beyond the bricks and mortar of a stadium redevelopment.
"We're excited at taking this first step in the agreement, which will ultimately see seven games at Campbelltown Stadium from 2029 onwards."
