The Wests Tigers faced off against the Rabbitohs in a grueling NSW Women's Premiership battle on Saturday afternoon, ultimately coming up short with a score of 20-14 at Redfern Oval.

Lenaz, once primarily known for her speed on the wing during the club's first NRLW season, displayed some fancy footwork to score a try, with Rebecca Pollard ready to pounce in support.

Turzah Donovan found the try-line next for the home team, but Darcy Eade from Illawarra's Tarsha Gale Cup premiership-winning team in 2024 made sure the Wests Tigers fought back to even the score at 10-10.

Eade's try from about 20 meters out showcased her agility and skill as she sidestepped her way to the try-line.

However, Donovan struck again just before halftime, giving the Rabbitohs a 16-10 lead going into the break.

In the second half, both teams managed to add another try to their tally, with Sian Filipo scoring for the Rabbitohs and young fullback Tiana-Lee Thorne securing her third try of the season for the Wests Tigers.

The battle was fierce, but in the end, the Rabbitohs emerged victorious.
